Sufficient Framework II

Sufficient Framework II is a study of language as an anthropological border, an infrastructure that sorts belonging and regulates what can be said. Two hands enter from opposite sides and begin to write the same sentence in different scripts, English left-to-right, Farsi right-to-left: “if you don’t have a word for it, you cannot think of it. want to get real?” As the lines approach the center, writing frays into non-writing, where emotion and meaning outruns vocabulary. At this midpoint a third hand appears and moves in a phrase of gesture and movement, a dance.
Meaning does not end when text falters; it shifts channels, the frame becomes a liminal zone, where communication persists as embodied semiosis . The work argues that this mode is primary rather than primitive, though modern epistemologies have trained us to treat the textual and “scientific” as higher forms of knowledge. The return pass, when the first two hands reverse and wipe away their scripts while the dancing hand remains. What cannot be spoken still asks to be held.
Sufficient Framework II proposes that holding, tracing, and moving together are parallel instruments of knowing and belonging, crucial where categories fail, what cannot be spoken still asks to be held
