I often feel like an extension of the city I once lived in. If I could follow myself, my unknown lingering material, I’d find it at the end blending with the asphalt, looking above in the streets of the city that misses me as I miss it.

This installation presents eight photographs: paired views of sky and asphalt taken from two precise locations, Storrs, Connecticut (in front of my studio) and Tehran, Iran (in front of my friend’s house), captured at 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM in both places.
